2014, l'IPMS en FRANCE

Voilà 35 ans que je bats pour l'implantation, la communication et le maintien de l'esprit IPMS en FRANCE. Pour qui ? Pour quoi ? Je ne saurais vraiment l'expliquer. C'est sûrement ce que l'on appelle la « fibre ». J'ai eu la chance dès l'âge de 19 ans, de côtoyer et de travailler avec les dirigeants de l'IPMS à PARIS. L'un d'entre eux m'a transmis cette fibre, cette passion de donner aux autres. A chaque instant de ma vie maquettiste, que j'accueille un enfant ou un quarantenaire débutant, je me reconnais dans cet esprit mondial qu'est l'IPMS créé par Mr Peter ELLEY en 1963. Cette communauté de loisir et de passion est unique au monde. A chacune de mes visites à TELFORD, je retrouve cette »fibre de passion», comme aujourd'hui, avec le bureau actuel. A chaque fois que je rencontre Mr Paul REGAN, Mr Jim CHAPMAN sans oublier l'incontournable Mr Gary WENKO d'un dévouement extraordinaire, je retrouve chez eux cette « fibre », entretenue, toute d'humilité, d'amitié et de convivialité......Notre but est toujours et restera toujours le même : accueillir les maquettistes de tous âges, tous niveaux, en toute humilité et amitié. L'IPMS vient de fêter ses 50 ans, je n'ai aucun doute que nous sommes repartis pour 50 de plus. Moi, j'ai la « fibre » IPMS, et croyez moi bien, que je continuerai jusqu'au bout, avec mes amis maquettistes, à tout mettre en œuvre en France pour accueillir les maquettistes de tous âges et de tous horizons. Alors si le cœur vous en dit, que vous soyez en club, une bande de copains, une petite section, maquettiste isolé, n'hésitez pas, rejoignez nous !

Here are 35 years within my heart beat for the setting-up, the communication and the preservation of the spirit IPMS in FRANCE. For whom? Why? I would not really know how to explain it. It is certainly what we call the "fiber". I had the luck,  19 years old, to meet and to work with the leaders of the IPMS in PARIS. O of them passed on to me this fiber, this passion to look to the others. All the time of my life of model maker, either I welcome a child even a "grown" novice, I recognize me in this universal spirit of IPMS created by Mr Peter ELLEY in 1963. This community of leisure and passion is unique in the world. In each of my visits to TELFORD, I find this " fiber of passion ", as today, with the current team. Every time I meet Mr Paul REGAN, Mr Jim CHAPMAN without forgetting inescapable Mr Gary WENKO with an extraordinary dedication, I find at home this "fiber", maintained, quite of humility, friendship and conviviality ...... Our purpose is always and will always stay the same: welcome the model makers of any ages, any levels, with humility and friendship. THE IPMS has just celebrated its 50 years, I have no doubt that we'll seer 50 more. I have the "fiber" IPMS, and believe me, I shall continue up to the end, with my friends model makers, to work in France to welcome the model makers of any ages and any horizons. Then if the heart says to you about it, that you are in club, friends' band, a small section, an isolated model maker, do not hesitate, join us!
